Artist’s words

Without hurrying, I drew line after line over several months. Along the way I noticed small wildflowers blooming between rocks I might otherwise have passed, and became interested in tiny living things I would not have known without looking closely. The hanok, with curves throughout, reminded me of our lives: seemingly disorderly, yet possessing their own order. As I gave it time and heart, the lines became rocks, wildflowers between the rocks, and a hanok standing above stone steps.
